Tilt-shift creates beautiful innocent looking photos, but this is not the most commercial kind of effect such as Fish-eye. While you should take control of it because it boosts your creativity and takes really cool pictures, I’d suggest that you don’t buy any expensive equipment just to take tilt-shift photos.
Although, in most cases, you won’t have to buy any special equipment to take such photos.

Secondly, do experiment. Tilt-shift is such a type of photography that makes absolutely ordinary things look spectacular, but turns breathtaking landscapes into mediocre images. So make sure you experiment with it a lot and take images of everywhere. Once you get hold of it, you’ll love this effect.

    The San Francisco one is fake. There are no streetcars in that area and the real ones do not look like that.

      You’re right. I made a cross-image search and it turns out it is a photo of the other end of the world, New Zealand.
