Learning HTML5 on Steroids
HTML5 hit the web so powerfully that even though it’s not complete and properly supported by web browsers yet. Its just announced that it will be completed by 2014, although earlier news was 2022. Despite all this, many designers have started working in it. And not just that, now rest of the designers also want to follow.
If you want to be able to code HTML5 properly, you can learn it from books or you can learn it from reference sheets. In this post you’ll find both of them, but the good thing is that all of these are Free!
Learning from book is the foolproof method but it’s the long route, if you want a shortcut, you have cheatsheets i.e. reference guides.
These books are very brief & intuitive and take only a couple of hours to complete, unlike the books consisting of 300-400 pages which demoralize you just by their length.
Usually on Mondays, your friend Waseem makes a Photoshop tutorial but this week he took an unscheduled leave, so I made this collection of latest oven hot tutorials.

Another week, another template – this time we are offering the tutorial for creating a web layout for a traveling agency. This is a Photoshop tutorial for creating this layout, the PSD downloadable file is published in another post, we will publish the tutorial for converting this template into HTML and CSS.
This template is for a travel agency that specializes in taking you to beaches and shores. For that I chose the color-scheme of Blue and I placed the pictures of beaches only. But you can easily edit this theme and make it in the theme of your choice.

HTML5 ushers in a new set of features and options for how we build websites and sooner than later it will have the full support of most browsers in use today. While XHTML will stick around for a long time, there is no avoiding the fact that you will have to update your WordPress theme eventually. With the help of JavaScript, HTML5 is safe to use for all modern browsers down to IE6. I should mention that if it is important to you to support users who may have JavaScript disabled (1.5% of total internet users), you may want to wait a while before making this change. However, there are a few tricks you can use to satisfy that 1.5% that I will cover at the end of this article.
Last week I made an advanced kind of DJ Image Manip and somebody challenged me that a great designer is not the one who can create designs using advanced tools such as displace (the main effect covered in that tutorial) but he is somebody who creates superb designs using simple commands and techniques. Today we’ll be making a flag of Designzzz and it’ll be waving on the flow of the wind. This tutorial is for intermediate and somewhat advance users. If you have watched my previous 3D tutorials you can do this easily even if you are just a beginner. I am using 3ds Max 2009 for this tutorial. You can use the other versions as well, commands are usually the same.

From today we are starting our new trend. Easy Coding… This is a venture by Designzzz and it specifically designed for web designers, not the high-end developers (even though they will get a scoop out of it) to create majestic results without having to wrestle with their computers.
Today we will be coding a sleek and attractive contact form with run time preview using PHP and jQuery. All the design area will be coded in HTML and CSS while jQuery will take care of run time preview. In the back end PHP will work as the main mailing script. This sounds pretty tough but don’t worry, it’s not too complicated.
