These Photoshop tutorials will help you to dramatically boost your creativity and professional skills.
Photoshop the most beloved application of us designers. It does everything that we could want a graphic design application to do. And more than that, it can also design websites and make animations.
This is such a big application that I heard somewhere that a university is offering a PhD program in Photoshop.
Our blog, Designzzz focuses a lot on Photoshop and today we are back with another mighty Photoshop post.
Tutorial for designing a single-color creative resume for designers.
Designers have a hard time creating a resume (also called CV), that’s because a designer is supposed to design something outrageous for his introducer… I mean resume is the thing that’s gonna makes a designer’s first impression, not the designer himself!
I was coping with the same problem a some time ago, so I designed this thing.
The aspects which make this resume design superior than some others is that it is a single color design, it can be xeroxed/photocopy-ed but more importantly, it doesn’t take much time to be studied. Bosses usually don’t like it when they have to study a lot.

Portfolio websites are very important. They help us get contracts, and that’s all we want, isn’t it?
This is my first ever post on Designzzz, I hope you like it. This is a tutorial for creating a portfolio web design in Photoshop. Mind you this is a beginner level tutorial and if you’re a seasoned designer, you might not get a kick out of this.
This layout should be suitable for freelancers of almost every field but probably not the best choice for businesses. That’s because it has a personal feel while business clients go for corporate styled designs.
I used Photoshop version CS4, but you can follow this tutorial even in Adobe Photoshop 7.
Creating a photo manipulation tutorial requires a certain type of mood from the artist. Take me for an example, I can’t make a good photo manipulation tutorial on call, I need my favorite songs playing in the background, cool weather, a mug of columbian coffee and a lot of inspiration before I give birth to one good photo manipulation.
I feel making a photo manipulation tutorial is even tougher than creating just an artwork that will not be converted into a tutorial. That’s because for a tutorial, I always have to keep in mind that everything should be simple, quick and easy to understand. Yet, the final result has to be eye-catching as well. All this makes designing a good photo manipulation tutorial difficult and that’s why I couldn’t make a deliver a good tutorial for a couple of weeks. But we have to bow down to public demand, don’t we?
So here I am with a wallpaper like photo manipulation tutorial, you can use it as a poster or flyer as well. If you are making it for a wallpaper, you don’t need any text written over it, otherwise the design has ample space for text and other content.
We shared a premium resource a couple of days ago, do remember that? Free Halloween Poster – Ticket – Wallpaper PSDs. This is the tutorial to create that graphic.
As ever, difficulty level is not that tough, intermediate and beginners should like it very much.
For practice, you can Download the PSD from other post. It’s free.

Before we begin the tutorial, here’s a fun fact about Halloween. According to an Irish legend, Jack O’Lanterns are named after an amazing guy who tricked the devil (yes, the devil) several times.
This is the first of it’s kind tutorial on Designzzz. This is the first time I’m making something for industrial designing.
We’re making a bottle design which can be used for any beverage, deodorant, perfume or many other kinds of things which come in a bottle.
This is the first of its kind photoshop tutorial here, I did not go deep down into the minor details, kept it short and easy.

Retro is my latest craze. I present retro designing related posts quite often these days, and today I’ve made this tutorial for designing a retro style business card.
Such a business card should be suitable for anything related to film/record store, photographer and such businesses which are related to media.
You can learn to create this card through this tutorial or you can wait until next week when we’ll publish this card another one in free PSD giveaway. But this will be a different kind of giveaway. In our giveaways, you are destined to win! If you comment, you will win, it doesn’t matter how many comments we receive, everybody will win. So don’t forget to participate in the giveaway.
Graphic designing is not just about designing, experienced designers also give a lot of importance to the fact that how quickly something is designed.
One thing that should enhance your speed of work is using ready-made graphics for your designs, just like the ones we publish for free download. In this tutorial, I’ve used such ready-made graphics to create my design.
I hate it when I’m reading a tutorial (yes, I do study tutorials, I have to stay updated) and the writer takes a whole lot of time just to make one shape. I avoid doing that, instead I use free ready-made resource, and that’s what I did here. I do it to keep the tutorial brief. I hope you like my effort.
We’ve shared many business card templates in the past, and of course some inspirational posts as well. But we never shared a good post on tutorials of business card designing.
Of course, if there’s anything we haven’t done before, I’m certainly gonna do that!
So here’s a wonderful collection of Photoshop tutorials, all great for graphic designers working in logo design/corporate business industry.
You like and follow them. See you!
