We have been wishing you new year all this week, lol… and here we are doing it once again. This is another new year related post. This time, I made something myself. These are Photoshop brushes which will help you in designing cards and graphics related to new year. And these are for all the years to come, they won’t expire after 2012 (although if the world ends, Designzzz can’t do anything about that). I don’t have to remind you that these are royalty-free so you can use them, distribute them, you don’t have take a permission from us. Now that’s called free!!

Warm wishes once again, and see you in the next year now. This is my last post of 2011.

Handy Apps for Everybody

Time for some iOS apps again. This is a collection of apps which are helpful for everybody in their daily life. I think you’d wanna keep them installed all year long (and even after that).

Sorry, I didn’t include any games, I might create another post comprising just games but today wasn’t the day. I made an iPhone related post after quite a while and I’m amazed to see the amount of stupid and rubbish kind of apps being developed, I actually saw an app to guess your fortune by your taking your picture!! I have only selected the best ones. Hope you like it, and wish you a Happy New Year !!

Remember last week I said I was feeling crazy… today was the same. So here I am making somewhat crazy! These fonts look great on girl stuff as well as children stuff. I don’t think I can elaborate their usage, you should just have a look and you’ll understand.

Here’s a fun thing to do, try to use these fonts on some so called manly products, when the products are launched in the market, share on your facebook that you used a girly font on a manly product, that’s designing!

Last week we published a tutorial of Dark Stylish Blog Layout in Photoshop. Today we are presenting its free download-able PSD file. As usual, it is absolutely free and you can easily edit in Adobe Photoshop.

This is a blog design for a lifestyle or showbiz related website. It also contains the features of a Magazine Layout. Don’t care about the dummy text, I just copied a few lines from Tayyab’s article How to Stay Prepared for Tomorrow. I don’t like Lorem Ipsum text so I just copy a para from here or there.

I almost forgot to make a collection of brushes, last time I made one was October, so here I am with a really useful collection of free Photoshop brushes.

These brushes work brilliant for adding an expression in photos, creating photo based designs such as photo albums, also useful for creating billboards and stuff like that. Basically these brushes adds a pinch of art into your designs.

As usual, you can download all of them in a single pack or independently by reaching the source. Enjoy!

And the time is here to announce the winners of Wooden Alphabet Pack giveaway. This is a super cool English alphabet pack which looks like some carpenter made it from real wood sticks and screws. Adobe Device Central costs 550 US Dollars.  But the best things in life are freeware.  So today I’m sharing a list free tools for web developers to test and check their websites on mobile phones and other devices, such as iPad.  You’ll find emulators and simulators, analysis tools and Firefox extensions. If you use these tools, they will work as Adobe Device Central alternatives.

I have just started freelance designing. I upload my designs on online market places and earn from it. Yesterday I was designing this Wood Alphabet Pack, the same effect for which I created a tutorial on Designzzz. Although I created this design but how can I forget you guys, the people who enabled me to dream of earning more than I ever did, so here’s what we have decided; whenever I design a premium resource pack to sell, I’ll make a free giveaway on Designzzz. Today is the first of those giveaways.
