Nice collection! It will be useful for non designers so much.
Really great website and awesome collection.
Thanks for sharing.
Probably Wix is the most popular. But I should definitely try weebly. Thanks, the article is really helpful.
Very helpful sites.I use Weebly the most.I feel Weebly gives us an easy to use interface to create and publish a website or a blog online as compared to others.
I will have to check those out, some I’ve never heard of!
…. a cool list of easy free website builders for dummies…. like myself…. until I learn more code !!
I would like to say “wow” what a inspiring post. This is really great. Keep doing what you’re doing!!
Ta very much for making this post. Could prove to be useful to me.
Nice list.Very good effort.I will personally recommend http://www.indigloo.com .They do not place ads on your free website.
Wow dude, I never new this, thanks.
Saw a link to this post over at Delicious. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you for taking time to create this. It’s challenging to find something both free and helpful similar to this tutorial.
You can build your own professional looking site quickly and easily with most modern do-it-yourself website builder.
Take a look at this few nice list of FREE online site builder and I am sure you will found one from the list:

Thank you for writing this. It gave me a quick overview of some really nice sites. I am personally creating a website with Wix. Since I’m starting from scratch instead of using one of their templates, it is taking a lot longer than I would like, but that’s only because of me. Their websites are really nice and professional with the use of Flash and high-quality graphics. You have full control over everything. It’s great.
Great list! I would add ezweb123.com (http://www.ezweb123.com) – they’ve been really supportive and again are free.

Great post ! Lots of useful stuff here.
I think these are great resources for secondary websites and websites used to promote your primary domain. I would never use one of these free sources for ones primary web presence. I wrote an article on my blog if anyone is interested in this topic.
I just wanted to let everyone know about Viviti.com. Basically it is a Content Management System and Website Builder that allows you to easily build your own website, either by selecting one of our premade themes or make your own theme simply by using html and css. Easy to use and very flexible.
I stumble on to this site after googling “top 10 free website builders” I have certainly found what I was looking for to get me started!!
Thanks much…
I find wix to be extremely slow and irritating. I have tried all of the sites above and definitely like http://www.webs.com.
Nice collection, though.
I tried to use WebNG.com. But I kept having problems with the login process, for my free website. But I had no problems with the free webhosting part. They do not seem to connect for some reason. You are forced to change your original domain name, between them both.
I am confused; some people say wix is the most popular and some say its very slow, I want advice from expert on which site I should start creating my first website.
i like this site as it has good information on website creation. I would also like to know whether are there any free website that also offers SEO in their webpages.
hey really usefull informations. I like reading .
One more question . How is those free webside builders with SEO.
Is there anz hidden cos behind them.

@Cen Volkam
All these are free, so if you want to make a website, but in most of the free packages, the web builder includes an advertising link of their self which might state that you are using a free package. If that doesn’t bother you, you should make a website with them without any hesitation.
As far as the SEO is concerned, you should visit my post in which you can also find brief reviews of these web builders. Robust Free Online Website Builders – Brief Reviews

It is the upgraded version of this post and it also contains brief reviews of all the builders. Good Luck
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great post. I’ve tried a few of those including Webstarts, Weebly, and Yola and they all work really well. One I would like to add that I found out about the other day is Circlepad. It’s a super easy web builder and very similar to Homstead. The only downside is that the free version doesn’t allow HTML code to be embedded into it unless you opt for a paid account.

@Jerry
Thanks for pointing out the drawback as well.
No worries I should mention something about Webstarts that just happened to me. Their servers crashed today and have been down the entire day everyone who has a website with them free or paid can’t access anything. They claim no information was lost but I’m starting to wonder about that.
This also isn’t the first time this has happened this is the second time this week, the first time was for about 45 minutes. Anyone who’s thinking of using this service might want to do some more shopping around. I’m not saying their bad or that you can’t build a good website with them, but this is a big problem they need to fix.
thank you, it’s so helpful.
Really nice top websites and i like it too , It is easy to create for non designers also and its easy thank you
I have already paid for my domain and host company and have a current website build by a web site guy years ago, can you recommend the best on line site builder I can use with my current domain and host company. I have heard yahoo and google both have one but no one has recommended them? Any help or recommendations you have would be great I have no experience but want to do my own website

Hello Mary
This is a big question actually, let me answer the first half initially. Yahoo stopped that service, it was called geocities.com. Google still carrying on with that service but that is specific only for corporate type clients and they create collaborative portals, I don’t think that’s what you need.
I have made a post about online builders and I have also stated their goods and bads. So you can visit Robust Free Online Website Builders for information on the same topic.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this! Very much appreciated!
Moonfruit doesn`t support danish website adresses…So it was a waste of time for me to design website that I can only use with “moonfruit” name on…
i checked yola …i am an upcoming artist and i want to built my free website.i just want to clarify that is it really free?or do i hve to ay ?like i checked with google they give you free space for 1 year but my aprehension is that google is asking for pan card no…are these websites safe?

Good question @Jazz
All these are FREE. They won’t ask you for credit card and stuff, but of course with a free package you won’t get a Top Level Domain i.e. yourname.com
You’ll get something like this: yourname.yola.com
I highly recommend that you have a look at the updated list of web builders: Robust Free Online Website Builders – Brief Reviews
I made this post myself and I included brief reviews. I think it’ll be a good help.
i tried a lot of them. personally, i like weebly best. lots of my friends agree with me. i find yola hard to use, and webs and webstart is very confusing.
i would reccomend weebly.
