100 Realistic Pokemon Art
If any of you were like me as a kid, you remember about twelve years ago (even earlier for those from Japan) when Pokemon first entered the lives of the public and changed the gaming industry forever. Quickly becoming the second highest grossing video game series only outdone by Nintendo’s own Super Mario. Many of you may have grown up playing the games, going from the simplistic Gameboy games, to the Trading Cards or maybe even just the TV Show and the Movies.
With the Thirteenth North American anniversary of the Franchise coming up early next year, I bring you one hundred pieces of fabulous art, reminding us of our childhood trying to catch them all, and many bringing these childish creatures into a more adult existence. I hope you enjoy these Creative and Realistic Pokemon Art.

I’m very proud of this post. I have put up a lot of effort and I don’t think you’d find many other posts on internet with such a large collection containing so many great, I repeat great designs. This should be the ultimate information for you to start creating such characters.

I love this! I am always looking for alternative art, especially of pokemom, so it was awesome to find so many good ones all on one page. The only little thing that irked me….. That awesome epic one titled “Articuno vs Gyrados” by Leashe….. I am pretty sure that is an Altaria, not an Articuno

I love this collection.
There’s only one thing that bothers me.
The one image that says “Gyarados vs Articuno” , thats not an Articuno, its actually an Altaria.

Though…just noticed 2 other things about this article (aside from the mistake in pokemon name that a few people above have pointed out) :
There’s two pictures on here that aren’t of pokemon. The “Gyrados” by Eic and the “Ninetales” by Hibbary aren’t actually pokemon even though they resemble pokemon. I know that Kyuubi no Kitsune image from Hibbary is just a regular nine tailed fox from mythology. And the “Gyrados” is just a sea creature I believe.
I’m being nitpicky aren’t I? ^^;

you also watermarked it intelligently, without hurting the graphic. Usually we have to leave the watermarked images because the watermark (sometimes) ruins the image.
The “Articuno vs Gyarados” is actually Altaria and Gyarados. I’ve been to that person’s deviantART page before.
I’m fairly positive that the picture you have up of Meowth is consistent with Toto’s style. Excellent collection!
Does anybody else think the first Kabutops looks kind of like the Slender Man?

These are fantastic – my respects to all of the artists featured! I have been a fan of pokemon since it first came to England, and still play. Some of these interpretations are absolutely astounding – my favourites have to be;

I’ve been a fan of Pokemon since as long as I can remember. Oh, and, on the Artucuno vs. Gyardos, that’s an Altaria. I’m a huge fan of Pokemon and love this!!! You guys did a great job. Keep up the great work!!!.

The best pokemons i’ve seen
I believe the Maril drawn by Toto is actually an Azurill, its pre-evolution. Also, I love this collection by the way. Awesome job by all the artists!
