Showcase of Single Page HTML5 Websites

Single Page websites using HTML5 is the latest trend in web designing. Web developers add a little jQuery to make it more dynamic. So you should check out the source code of all these websites, as well as the design.

First of all, I wanna apologize to our readers for not being able to follow our routine of publishing… that is due to the wedding of our webmaster Ayaz Malik. He is off to his honeymoon now, and that’s why I’m unable to publish any web design tutorial as he makes the demos. So in the meanwhile, me and Jawad will be making showcases of web design. Ayaz will be back so we’ll be back on track very soon. Thanks for keeping up with us.

All these websites were featured in our “daily website” section. The title link takes you to the featured page.

I think an important cmomon problem with some of these sites is the navigation menus. It\’s great that you\’ve noticed what makes for a good experience in buying or searching for a poster on these sites. It can make for a confusing experience as posters can encompass a huge number of categories.Personally, I\’m not fond of a mass list of text links (even if they\’re alphabetised!) when it comes to searching, I prefer a visual image link as opposed to a text one. However this is personal taste and actually most of the sites you\’ve mentioned incorporate many different ways of searching for posters on their home page, i.e. alphabetised list on left hand side, search bar at the top, Javascript image category slideshows, categorical image links in the content section and so on (see your allposters example). Thus your navigational aspect and the experience the user\’s have in their search for their perfect poster\’ is pretty important, similar to my own recipe index site. I particularly like the Javascript lightbox idea in showcasing your poster designs, it\’s very trendy now
