Light painting is a very unique and creative technique of photography. You use light patterns using long exposure technique, hence you get the result of light painting over any routine photo.
The effect is absolutely breathtaking and that’s the reason this effect is so popular among amateurs. It requires more creativity than professional experience.
This post also includes a video tutorial for creating this effect.
I showed a photo of a very cute little puppy to my niece… and I said: “what could be cuter?” She said: “Two Puppies!”. I just knew this will be the post I’ll make on Monday. This is a collection of the most brilliant pet photography, in fact a niche of pet photography, just puppy photography.
Almost all photos of puppies are cute but if you try to sell them, they lack the professional touch… what is this professional touch? And how can you add it to your photos? Today I’m answering those questions. I’m sure you’ll love this post.
A photographic collection of artists performing various skills. These are the ultimate examples of “capturing the moment”. In these photos, you’ll see, you’ll feel… you will witness the moment.
I’m kicking off the year with a bang! While collecting these photos made me realize that taking such shots is no child’s play! There are various techniques applied, such as long exposure, props, light painting, contrast adjustments and God knows what else… the photographers have done such a good job that I actually felt the emotions of these artists. You must have a look at them if you are a photographer or an art lover.
Forced Perspective is a photography technique to create an optical illusion. Before the rise of computer graphics, this technique was vastly used in filmmaking.
The method is that you place one object very close to the camera and the other on a distance, so the closer one looks real big and/or the distant one looks very small.
This is your first step towards trick photography.
Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! And we wish a lovely new year!
Today I have made a collection of photos depicting the environment of “Jingle Bells jingle bells jingle all the way…” (I just love this melody). I’m sure our photographer friends will derive some inspiration for the photography of festivals while I just made it to enjoy the season. Some pictures have humor in them, but mostly all of these portray the air of the favorite season the kids. (aah, I wish Santa was real!)
From the Editor: ”Mr. Tom Paysden has written this magnificent photography article. The professional critique on every photo has made this guest post very special. We thank you Tom for doing this for Designzzz’s readers.” When it comes to breathtaking imagery, it’s tough to beat wide-angle photography. No matter what the subject may be, this type of photography enhances and improves upon it. Look below for 30 amazing examples of wide-angle photography.
Months ago, Alikhoker made a post of inspirational marine life photography. The guy is considered the best inspirational photography post maker on Designzzz. But let me tell you, I’m no less than the best, so here I am with my collection of marine life photos.
I’m no marine biologist, I don’t even know the names of these fish so I can’t really provide you much scientific details. But I can assure you one thing and that is you’ll enjoy this post a lot, the life in the seas is unbelievable. Till this day, it stays humans have not been able to destroy it as they have destroyed the land which Mother Nature made for us.
We have been focusing a lot on professional photography lately, today I thought to do something a little different. This is a collection of photographs taken by amateurs, or should I say, non-photographers, some of these images are taken from mobile phones.
This is a collection of people sleeping in odd poses in public places. And they look very funny, sometimes you might think they are drunk, but no, they are just zzZzzZzzZzz.
This is an inspiration for you because you can learn had you been the photographer, what angle would you have created!! I’m not giving these pictures as the ultimate example but as not-so-perfect example.
You would have seen many Fashion Photography posts, we made a few on Designzzz. But today I thought of manipulating this idea a lil bit.
This is a collection of inspirational conceptual pictures which have the sense of fashion photography in them. These pictures don’t only show the clothing but the use and style of wearing it, this photography does not focus on the object but rather on the environment. Quite honestly such pictures look great on your portfolio but a textile company would never use them on their billboards I’m afraid.
