These desert pictures will make you rethink the life around you. I had never looked around my house, my neighborhood or my city and thought what an amazing experience it is to live in a city. Now I do think that way. That’s because I have seen these desert pictures.
If we ever want to imagine a life absolutely opposite to the life we lead, we must think of the life in the desert. In those places, the time stands still and we can go a thousand years back just by visiting these places.

Desert Pictures: Life Beyond the Cities
We may feel that these people don’t have anything… but actually they do. They have the one thing we don’t, time!
Time has given them wisdom, time has given them a completely different perspective of life. They understand the truly important things in life, if you wanna know what I mean by truly important, check out the movie The Gods Must be Crazy, South Africa’s biggest hit ever. It’s a story of a man from Kalahari Desert. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time. In this movie, the differences of desert life and metro life are depicted in a hilarious comedy. I highly recommend this movie, especially to everyone with interest in anthropology, sociology and psychology.
