Fantastic Trick Photography
Forced Perspective is a photography technique to create an optical illusion. Before the rise of computer graphics, this technique was vastly used in film making.
The method is that you place one object very close to the camera and the other on a distance, so the closer one looks real big and/or the distant one looks very small.
This is your first step towards trick photography.
Did You Know
In Harry Potter movies, the directors used this technique to make the character of Hagrid look like a giant. The same technique was used in Lord of the Ring movies to make Hobbits look small.
The same technique is also used in architecture sometimes to create an effect of depth, for example in a hallway, the entrance is wide but it narrows down towards the end. If the hallway is 50 meters long, you’ll feel like its at least 100 meters long.
